Children’s Hope India: Annual Royal Gala in New York City 10/9/11

Children's Hope India Royal Gala 10/9/11

Luxemi is very excited to take part in Children’s Hope India’s Royal Gala on Sunday, October 9th, 2011 at Pier Sixty in Manhattan. This year’s event is fit for a King (and Queen!) with delectable food, fashion, music, dancing and a luxury auction. We invite you to participate in this worthwhile cause because while indulging your inner maharani, you’ll also be supporting the cause of health and education in India.

Children’s Hope India has a simple motto: Every Child Counts. It is a volunteer organization of Indian women professionals in New York that has been raising funds for children’s health and education since 1992 and reaches out to over 20,000 children per year.

From a performance by singer Falu and a dance presentation of ‘Mystic India,’ the event is filled with exciting entertainment and inspiring honorees. Tickets to the gala are $ 375 (preferred seating) and $275 (regular seating) and proceeds benefit Children’s Hope India’s health and educational programs.

Luxemi is a proud sponsor of this event and we’ve also donated one of our favorite Satya Paul sarees to the silent auction (pictured below). We’ll also be attending the event, so if you make it, make sure to let us know! Take advantage of our 50/50 promotion (all rentals $50, all purchases over $150, $50 off!) to buy or borrow the perfect outfit to wear to this royal event.

Revel in style and give back to a very worthy cause. Being a royal never felt so good.
